🔹 1. Listening Section (40 Questions | 30 Minutes)

Each of the 4 parts includes different audio contexts like conversations or monologues. Here are the main question types:

Listening Question Types:

  1. Multiple Choice

  2. Matching (e.g., names to opinions)

  3. Plan, Map, or Diagram Labelling

  4. Form, Note, Table, Flow-chart, or Summary Completion

  5. Sentence Completion

  6. Short-Answer Questions


🔹 2. Reading Section (40 Questions | 60 Minutes)

Different for Academic and General Training, but many question types are shared.

Common Reading Question Types (Both Modules):

  1. Multiple Choice

  2. Identifying Information (True / False / Not Given)

  3. Identifying the Writer’s Views (Yes / No / Not Given)

  4. Matching Information (e.g., match paragraphs to details)

  5. Matching Headings

📝 3. Writing Section (2 Tasks | 60 Minutes)

Divided into two tasks. Task types vary depending on the test version: Academic or General Training.

Writing Task Types:

🗣️ 4. Speaking Section (3 Parts | 11–14 Minutes)

A face-to-face interview with an examiner.

 Speaking Part Structure:

🔸 Part 1: Introduction & General Questions
  • Topics: Home, hobbies, work, travel, family, daily routine

  • Simple personal questions

🔸 Part 2: Cue Card (Long Turn)
  • You get a task card with a topic and 1 minute to prepare

  • Must speak for 1–2 minutes

  • Topics: Describe a person, place, event, object, etc.

🔸 Part 3: Discussion Questions
  • In-depth follow-up questions related to Part 2 topic

  • Focus: expressing opinions, justifying ideas, abstract discussion
