| INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM (IELTS) |
📝 What is IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a widely recognized English proficiency test designed for people who want to study, work, or migrate to countries where English is the primary language. It assesses your ability to listen, read, write, and speak in English.
There are two main types of IELTS:
Academic – for students applying to universities and higher education institutions.
General Training – for those planning to work, migrate, or undertake non-academic training.
The test is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English, and it is accepted by over 11,000 organizations worldwide, including universities, companies, and government agencies.
IELTS is scored on a band scale from 1 to 9, where 9 indicates expert-level English. The results remain valid for two years from the test date.
Whether you're aiming to study abroad or build a career internationally, IELTS is often the first step to unlocking global opportunities.
